Jacob's baseball intelligence officially surpasses mine, and his emotional intelligence should be the envy of plenty of grown adults. The boys respond to him so positively. He encourages our players in ways the other coaches simply can't. The kids love him, and for good reason--there really is no better role model than Jake. He's an amazing athlete, sure, but he's also just an amazing human being.
